Can a mini-split heat a whole floor?
Often, yes — a properly sized head or two can carry a floor or a whole small home. We will size it honestly rather than guess.
How visible is the equipment inside?
The head mounts high on a wall; the lines run through a small sealed hole to the outdoor unit. Floor and ceiling options exist if a wall unit does not work for the room.
Is it cheaper than adding ductwork?
Usually — opening walls and ceilings to run ducts is the expensive part. Mini-splits skip all of it.
Do they really heat in winter?
Cold-climate models do — many of our installs in Bucks and Berks are primarily for heat in homes on oil or propane.
