Blowing warm air
Thermostat, refrigerant, compressor, or controls — we test in order, not guess.
Ice on the copper lines
Low refrigerant or blocked airflow. Turn it off and call — running it frozen hurts the compressor.
Turns on and off every few minutes
Short cycling is hard on the compressor and usually means a real fault, not a quirk.
Weak airflow from the vents
Blower, duct, or filter — half the time it is upstream of the AC itself.
Water pooling near the unit
A clogged condensate line. Cheap to clear, expensive if it overflows into a ceiling.
Grinding, buzzing, or rattling
Motors and capacitors warn before they fail — the sound is the warning.
When to shut it off and call
If the breaker repeatedly trips, the outdoor unit buzzes without starting, or ice is building on the refrigerant line, turn the system off and call for service. Repeated restarts can cause additional damage.

How fast can you get out?
Call or text day or night. Dead-AC calls in a heat wave get priority when we can get to them — you will get an honest answer on timing.
My AC is running but not cooling — what can I check first?
Thermostat on cool and set below room temp, a clean filter, a tripped breaker, and a clear outdoor unit. If those are fine, it is our job. The full checklist is in our warm-air guide.
Do you work on older R-22 systems?
Yes — we service what is out there. If yours uses phased-out refrigerant, we will tell you honestly what repair versus replacement looks like.
